The Bishop's Lodge is located at the intersection of Mackay and Ovens Streets. It was built in 1904 and was originally known as Bishop's Palace and is set amidst expansive gardens.
Designed in a Federation Queen Anne architectural style the building boasts a cast iron lace balcony and is a two storey red brick building made up of 6 bedrooms and 7 main rooms. In 1964 a weatherboard chapel was added and in 1986 it was clad in brick to match the existing building.
